Max's Story

Are you looking for a spunky senior with kind eyes?
Meet Max. Max is a 10-year-old mixed breed who found himself with us after his owner passed away. Max is a hefty boy sitting in around 95lbs of pure love. He is neutered and fully vaccinated. Max lived in a tiny home with his chihuahua little sister. So Max does well in small spaces and really just needs a human to be happy. He is great with other dogs but would prefer an older dog who can match his energy. Max is potty trained and loves a good snack. The kennel setting is stressing Max out to the point where he has lost his bark. He now sounds like a raspy old man trying his hardest to snag the attention of anyone who enters the kennels. He breaks our hearts.
If you think Max would be a good fit for your home, please contact us at 812-358-2141 option 4 for animal control.
