Max's Story

Max is a Yorkie whose owner had a stroke and had to surrender him. He is a sweet boy who has cataracts, has a strong heart with NO murmur. He can follow light and loves to be held. He has learned how to get around and come in and out following your voice. He is a happy boy. He is current on vaccines, heartworm negative and current on flea, tick and heartworm meds.

Coffee County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

We request the adopters other pets be spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Our dogs are adopted out as indoor dogs only, they are a part of the family, not yard ornaments please. Cats also are adopted out as indoor only, for their safety. We ask adopters to pledge no declawing of cats.

Our Mission

Our mission is to prevent animal abuse and suffering through a community outreach program for spay/neuter, vet help in case of illness or injury, and a foster/adoption program for pets in need of homes.
