I came to the rescue after finding that I wasn’t really a good fit in my original home situation. After a brief battle with pancreatitis recently, I am back to my old silly self. I’m on a low fat diet which I like, keeps me healthy and gives me energy. I enjoy a short walk around the block. My back legs shake a little due to my IVDD but the walks help me get stronger. I bark when I’m scared, but otherwise I love attention, belly rubs and playing with fur friends. I do well with adults and dogs but probably wouldn’t do well in a home with kiddos. I love blankets on the couch and tv time and would love to sleep in the big bed with you but will sleep in my own if you prefer. If you are interested in adopting one (or more!) of our Rescues, please fill out an adoption application at: https://therescuedrescuers.org/ Please note that we require all animals within the home to be current on annual vetting services. This information will be verified by your vet. If your pet(s) are not up to date on their annual shots, please make an appointment with your vet and take care of this prior to submitting an application. We will not approve any application until all vetting on current pets within the home is completed. After a vet check has been approved, a home visit will be scheduled with the pup(s) so that the new pup(s) can be introduced to the new family and environment.
