Meet Max, a lively and handsome 1 year old, male, Fox Terrier looking for his forever family. Max was surrendered to the rescue because his previous elderly owner could unfortunately no longer care for his needs. He lived a quiet life with her and didn't get to meet many other people so he can be a bit shy and guarded when he meets new people. He is a classic terrier with a vibrant spirit! While he takes a little to warm up to strangers, it is worth the wait. Once he knows and trusts you he is incredibly friendly, affectionate and playful. He loves being active, going for walks, and burning off some energy by doing zoomies in the yard.
