Max's Story

Hi, I am Max — a 9-month-old Blue Lacy/Labrador Retriever mix weighing about 65 pounds, and I am looking for an active family that is ready for all the fun and excitement that comes with raising a teenage pup. I was rescued from a high kill shelter down South, and while I can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, I warm up quickly. Give me a minute to realize you are a friend, and you will discover a sweet, affectionate boy who loves attention, pets, and spending time with his people. I am being fostered in Southfield, Michigan.

I am a happy, high-energy Lab who is still very much in my puppy phase. I love to run, play, explore, and soak up every adventure. Sometimes I forget just how big and bouncy I am, so I would do best in a home with older kids because I can accidentally knock over little ones during my excited greetings and zoomie sessions. I get along great with other dogs and would love a canine playmate, but I would also be happy as long as I have an active family that will give me plenty of exercise, playtime, training, and love.. I am eager to learn, food motivated, and at the perfect age to continue building good manners with a patient and consistent family.

I will come fully vetted, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. If you are looking for a fun-loving, loyal companion who will keep you smiling, join you on every adventure, and reward your time and patience with endless love, I just might be your perfect match.

Please apply to adopt me here:
https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/63adcb00cb896f59b74103d2/6a0a385b73c4cc4bb20cfd9a

———

If interested, please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder.
