Max's Story

Meet Max

Max is a sweet, sensitive soul with a playful spark and a whole lot of love to give. Once he feels safe, he is incredibly affectionate, loyal, and happiest curled up beside his person or heading out for a long walk.

Max thrives on routine and predictability. He bonds deeply with his people and builds trust quickly when introductions are calm and respectful. He does especially well with gentle voices, clear communication, and consistent structure. In the right home, he truly blossoms.

He enjoys daily walks, time in the yard, and being part of his person’s world. He has lovely house manners, is fully house trained, and settles nicely in the home once he understands the routine.

Because Max can be startled by sudden movements or unexpected noise, he is looking for a quiet, adult-only home. He would do best with a patient single person or calm couple who can give him time to build confidence at his own pace. A predictable environment with minimal foot traffic is important for him.

Max is not suited for apartment or attached living, and he would not be comfortable in a home with children. He does well with calm, respectful dogs and may enjoy a balanced canine companion, though he would also be happy as the only dog in the right home.

Max is a dog who gives his whole heart once he feels secure. He is not a “busy family” dog, but for the right person, he will be an incredibly devoted and loving companion.

If you appreciate a dog who forms a deep bond and are willing to let him settle in thoughtfully, Max may just be your perfect match.

Max was born approximately April 2022 and is a small dog.

His adoption fee is $475.
