Hi! My name is Max! I'm a 13-year old male tricolor beagle. I just had a vet exam & I'm in great shape! (except for my ears - I had an ear infection, but I'm getting meds for that now!) I need a new home because my family didn't have the resources to care for me any longer. I'm an affectionate & easygoing fellow! I'm also very loving. I've lived with cats & I do great with them! I'm in a temporary foster home with other dogs & I'm getting along with them very well! I like to play tug-of-war & ball! I should be fine in a home with children 8 or older who know how to properly treat a dog. I'm housetrained & crate trained! I'm used to going outside 3 or 4 times a day. I'll bark or whine when I need to go outside. I like my crate. (It's a wire crate). Just leave the door open & I'll go in when I want a little alone time. I also like to sleep in my crate at night. If you say 'In', I'll go in my crate - or throw a couple of biscuits in the crate. I like the biscuits! :) I'm up-to-date on vaccines & neutered. I weigh about 34 lbs., but I could probably loose 1-2 lbs. Please think about giving me a loving & caring forever home to spend my golden years. That's what I really need & want.
