Max's Story
Hi! I’m Max, a 1-year-old Golden Retriever with a big heart and an even bigger smile. I came into rescue with my little buddy, Aya Papaya. While my family could no longer keep me, they took great care of me, and it shows—I’m already neutered, vaccinated, and ready for my forever home.

I’m a friendly, happy boy who would love a home where I can spend lots of time with my people. Training sounds like a great idea to me—not only do I enjoy learning, but it’s a wonderful way to bond with my new family. I already walk pretty well on leash and am eager to keep improving!

The rescue team is still getting to know me and will be sharing more photos and updates soon, but I have a feeling I won’t be here very long. After all, I’m the kind of boy everyone is looking for.

GRCGLARescue adopts within the counties of Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego. Because we do require pre-adoption screening and post-adoption follow-up, we cannot support adoptions outside of this service area.

If you have a current application on file and would like to inquire about this dog, please email adoptions@grcglarescue.org. Otherwise, please make sure to complete the online adopter application found at http://www.grcglarescue.org/adopt before sending your inquiry.
