In fact, he knows all their names and all their exes! Whether it's a person or another animal, Max is always ready to make a new friend. He loves kids and he enjoys the company of cats but doesn't know how big he is. He's the definition of a social butterfly and thrives on being part of the fun.<br/><br/>Max also loves to romp around with his canine buddies (he gets along with dogs of all ages/sizes but definitely prefers younger ones who share his playful energy). When he's not entertaining himself with a favorite toy or happily chewing on a bone, he's going on an adventure and exploring the weird smells around town. He hopes to never be bored and will bark to let you know if he is! After playtime, Max is content curling up on the couch for snuggles and soaking up all the affection you have to offer, which he hopes is a lot!<br/><br/>While Max has had only minimal formal training, he's incredibly eager to learn. He's the kind of dog who simply wants to be included in whatever you're doing. His enthusiasm and willingness to please makes him a wonderful candidate for continued training. He tolerates basic grooming well, though he'd happily skip bath time if given the choice! <br/><br/>He does fine in the crate, and if he cries at all while in it, it's his way of saying he needs to potty. Max is getting better with leashes, but definitely needs more practice. He hasn't had any accidents so we presume he's house-trained, but with any new dog, he hopes you'll have patience as he adjusts to your home.<br/><br/>With his joyful spirit, affectionate nature, and lovable "good boy" energy, Max is sure to bring laughter, love, and companionship to his fur-ever family.
