WHY does Max need a home??? Max’s owner June has relocated to Forrest Manor nursing home. This is a very difficult crossroad for June and Max - her companion dog of 10 years. In June’s words “I love max very much and can’t promise him a gentle kind senior life. Max has served as my companion content to keep me company in my room 24/7 without any complaints from him." <br/> <br/>Dog lovers that treat dogs like family can related to how June feels as we all worry the same way about not being able to provide for our pets should life changes separate us. <br/><br/>Here is what you need to know about Max:<br/>• Max has been FULLY EXAMINED by the veterinary staff<br/>• The staff was impressed with his easy going temperament & cooperation - he is very gentle<br/>• ALL VACCINATIONS BROUGHT UP TO DATE<br/>• He had a complete blood panel (CBC) plus lyme/heartworm tests with no issues<br/>• He had a complete DENTAL to remove tartar & soft teeth<br/>• He’s good with people, small children, indifferent to other dogs but will chase cats<br/>• He has excellent house manners and potty habits <br/>• Likes to ride in the car & is intrigued by the wonders of a bigger world outdoors given he’s lived confined to one room with his former owner<br/><br/><br/>Contact info: auntmarysdoghouse@yahoo.com or call 908-362-1333.
