This little gentleman is the perfect mix of cuddly and independent, making him an ideal companion for just about any home. Max LOVES food and treats (broccoli, carrots, apples, scrambled eggs—you name it!). He gets so excited at treat time that he takes them most gently when placed in the palm of your hand. Mealtime is his favorite part of the day, and he currently enjoys a little extra topping on his kibble. Max is completely house-trained and has never had an accident indoors. He has a good routine, happily going out before bed and then sleeping soundly through the night until morning. During the day, he’ll let you know when he needs to go outside by pacing or heading toward the door. Max is an easy, low-maintenance companion—he doesn’t have separation anxiety and is content whether you’re home or away. He greets you warmly when you return, but doesn’t fuss while you’re gone. He’ll give a little bark when someone is at the door (as any good watchdog would!) but quiets down quickly. Whether joining you in the yard, taking a walk, or relaxing by your side, Max is happiest just being with his people.
