What is Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue’s adoption process?

1. Complete an Adoption Application: https://rescueofhope.com/adoption-application/ 2. We will review your application and contact you in 48 hours 3. If it's a potential fit, we will bring the dog over for a home visit and discuss whether it is the right placement for you and the dog 4. After the home visit, we we will both take a day to consider whether it is the right match because we want our dogs to go to forever homes 5. If everyone is in agreement, the adoption will be scheduled 6. For the adoption, you will sign an adoption contract, receive copies of all medical records, pay the adoption donation in cash/check to Hearts of Hope, and you'll have a new family member

Is Mavis good with kids?

Mavis is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Mavis good with other animals?

Mavis is not good with other dogs and cats.

When can I meet Mavis?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
