Mavis – Mastiff/Labrador mix – 5yrs – female – (65lbs)<br/> <br/>Introducing our beautiful girl, Mavis! This stunner was picked up as a stray by a county shelter. Animal Control realized that she had been picked up previously and contacted her owners thinking they would come for her. Sadly, their response was “Keep her!” ? When we spotted her at that county shelter, we decided to get her out of there and make her part of our SHR family. <br/><br/>Mavis is very sweet! She loves attention and while she can be a bit wary of new people, once she is comfortable she’s very affectionate. She is housebroken, knows basic commands, and will do anything for a treat! Mavis walks well on a leash, pulls a bit with the excitement of the adventure, but corrects easily. She’s happy, quirky, and loves life! She will do well with an easy-going male dog or as an only dog. She loves humans the most! She’s fairly mellow and loves to bask in a sunny spot. She will also make a great walking, hiking, or camping companion and is all around great company. Once Mavis is in a loving home, she will be loyal and devoted for life!
