Mavis is 5 months old, 32 lbs<br/><br/><br/>Mavis is a 5–6 month old, 30-ish pound mixed-breed girl who is all legs, puppy wiggles, and LOVE. We aren’t sure exactly what mix she is, but we do know one thing for sure—she’s one very special girl.<br/><br/>Mavie is a sweet, goofy, kind-hearted soul who hasn’t met a stranger yet. She happily welcomes new people and doesn’t feel the need to bark at everyone she meets. She loves giving kisses, getting attention, and being part of whatever her people are doing. <br/><br/>She absolutely LOVES her piggy toy and is always ready for a little playtime. She also loves going for car rides, so she’d make a pretty great adventure buddy!<br/><br/>Mavis is doing wonderfully in her foster home:<br/> Good with other dogs<br/> Seems to be house trained<br/> Great in her crate<br/> Loves car rides<br/> Professional kiss-giver<br/> Learning her tricks<br/> Knows “sit”<br/> Has a great recall<br/> Friendly with everyone she’s met so far<br/><br/>She hasn’t been tested with cats or children yet, so we’ll want to find the right match for her.<br/><br/><br/>Mavie came into rescue after being saved from the pound, where she was at risk of being euthanized. We may not know much about her past, but she’s showing us every day that she has so much love to give and deserves a family who will give that love right back. <br/><br/>She’s still just a baby and is learning what it means to be a beloved family dog. If you’re looking for a goofy, affectionate, loyal little sidekick who will happily give you kisses and follow you on adventures, Mavis might just be your girl. <br/><br/> Mavis is currently in foster care and is looking for her forever home.
