He was neutered, chipped and not emaciated or in catastrophically poor health. It was clear that his former owner tied him up and abandoned him in a public place where he would be found. The number associated with the chip denied having ever owned a dog. He had a broken hip and road rash on his paws when initially taken to the vet. His hip did not require surgery, just some extended crate rest which we have provided him. He has recovered well. He’s an exceedingly sweet dog. He loves his toys and our evening walks.
