Maverick is an 11 month old Labrador Retriever mix, weighing 66 pounds (on 8.27). He is housetrained and reported to do well with kids 9+. He is very friendly, happy, and outgoing. He is very strong and needs leash work. He gets along well with most other dogs and is very goofy and playful. He knows “sit” and would benefit from further training. He is heartworm negative, microchipped, has had his puppy shots, and been neutered. Maverick would do best to go to a home with a fenced in yard or to a large SAFE property where he can get the exercise he needs.
