Maui

Maui is an adorable chihuahua mix puppy who, with his two brothers, made his way from a high-kill shelter in Texas and is now safe in New Jersey. He is ready to find his forever home. Currently weighing about 10 pounds, he is expected to grow into a perfect size of 20–25 pounds. A note from Maui’s foster:<br/><br/>Maui is the sweetest little companion! He is amazing around other dogs (both large and small), young kids and babies! He is crate trained and has had very few accidents! He sleeps through the night. He has gained a lot of confidence on a leash, but he does not mind if you want to carry him too. (And at just 8 pounds, it’s more than manageable.)<br/><br/>Maui is a very playful, young boy. He is eager to learn, very treat motivated and absolutely adores human interaction. He follows his 5 year old human-foster-sister around like her shadow! Maui is experiencing many things with his foster family, but he cannot wait to call a family his fur-ever!
