Matrix- At just 55 lbs, Matrix is a petite 4 year old Doberman, with a personality that’s larger than life. Matrix is joyful, affectionate, and full of charm. When she’s happy, she does her little tap dance while her nubbin tail wags nonstop. She adores sniffing everything in her path and, when the zoomies strike, she’s so fast you’ll think the world is moving in slow motion around her.<br/><br/>When it’s time to rest, she’s a star in her crate. After a few minutes of settling in, she snoozes peacefully, sometimes even choosing her crate on her own for a cozy nap. She also has a silly streak — Matrix loves to “rearrange” soft items around the house, but she’s not been destructive about it.<br/><br/>She’s house trained, dog friendly, and was respectful of her foster family's cat. Indoors, she comes when called, though her recall outdoors hasn’t been tested yet. She’s smart and already working on her basic commands and starting to master “sit”, "down" and walking on a leash. Interior stairs and getting into cars still make her a little unsure, but she’s gaining confidence every day with gentle guidance. Once in the car, she lays down for the entire ride. <br/><br/>Matrix’s ideal forever family would be patient to help her continue to build confidence with new experiences, be active or have plenty of space for her to run when she gets the zooms, and have a sense of humor to appreciate her quirks like her adorable underbite and excited tap dancing. She is the happiest dog we have ever met and will instantly put a smile on your face when you meet her. Matrix is being fostered in Maryland. <br/><br/>DAR&E adopts to MD, VA, DC, DE, eastern parts of WV and southern parts of PA. Please check with other Doberman rescues in areas not listed.
