Meet Matisse!<br/><br/>If you’re a French Bulldog fan, this 2-year-old cutie may be your new bestie! At just 27 lbs, Matisse is still very much a lap dog and is incredibly cuddly. He’s a fun-loving Frenchie with a lot to say—snorts, snuffles, the occasional slobber, and plenty of slurping included. Very expressive and very entertaining!<br/><br/>Matisse is an easy keeper: he’s not a fussy eater, is comfortable in a crate, and is not destructive. He enjoys walks, likes toys (without destroying them), and happily chews on hooves. Attention is his love language—you can even squish his cheeks and he’s all in. He wants to be your one and only and get all of your attention. <br/><br/>Some basic manners training is recommended, but overall he’s a total sweetheart—more pussycat than bulldog. Speaking of cats, he’s been very curious about his foster’s kitty but hasn’t gone beyond that. Please include a vet reference (including phone number) when applying online.<br/><br/>Our application process:<br/>FIRST, an application must be approved for adoption from our rescue.<br/>SECOND, we determine whether the dog that has been applied for is a "good match" for the household that wants to adopt him/her. We take into consideration the dog's activity level, compatibility with other members of the household (human and other pets), etc.<br/>If your application has been approved, but the dog you applied for is no longer available, please take the time and look over our adoptable dogs again.
