Matilda (M Puppies)'s Story
Meet Matilda.

She is an 8-month-old Jack Russell mix with soft eyes and a tender heart. Matilda has lived through more than a young pup ever should. You can see it in the way she pauses, watches, and tries to figure out if she is safe. But you also see the hope. She wants to trust. She wants her person. She wants her second chance.

Matilda is crate trained and house trained. In the home she is calm, gentle, and respectful. With time and patience she opens up and shows you her sweet side, the side that leans in for pets, searches for comfort, and waits for you to tell her everything is okay. Once she bonds, she bonds deeply.

She is nervous with new people and situations and shows signs of past trauma. Matilda will need an adopter who understands that healing takes time. Someone who will move slowly, offer reassurance, and celebrate her small wins. She is worth every bit of effort.

Matilda would prefer to be the only dog in the home, but she does get along with other respectful dogs. She is young, bright, and ready to bloom in the right environment.

If you want to make an impact on a life, Matilda is your girl. She wants safety. She wants love. She wants a forever home where she will never have to wonder again if she belongs.

Adoption Fee: $550

MORE INFO: Every dog with Wilder Souls Rescue receives thorough veterinary care before adoption. This typically includes:
* Full health exam
* Deworming
* Core vaccines (Bordetella, DHPP series, Rabies)
* Microchipping
* Monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered.
