Matilda's Story
Heartworm Prevention is given on the 20th of each month

UPDATE:

As for Matilda, she is a super sweet girl. She follows you around all over the house and wants to be near you - although she's not much of a lap dog - yet. She is very quiet - the only time she really barks is if she wants you play with her and even then it is just a yap or two. She sleeps quietly in her crate all night - no sound at all (even though she doesn't particularly seem to care for her crate much). and does great in the car - quiet and calm. She is housebroken and hasn't had any accidents in the house. She learned to use the doggy door very quickly, but even before that, never had any accidents. Her favorite things are to go on walks, roll and lay in the grass, and most of all EAT. She is quite food motivated. She can be a little nervous meeting new people but warms up after a pet or two. She does well with other dogs and people and basically wants to be friends with everyone. She is a sweetheart.

Look at this little cutie who has just come into Rescue, meet Matilda, CTDR's newest arrival. Matilda is 8 months old and was found running the streets and was taken to the nearest shelter. When we received the call that she was there, of course we right away said we would take her. She has completed most of her vetting but will still need to be spayed this week. If you would like to add Matilda to your family, please complete an application at www.ctdr.org.
