Matilda's Story
Matilda is a 3-year-old, 24-lb French Bulldog with a sweet soul and a playful heart. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, she warms up quickly and is ready to have fun.

Matilda absolutely loves other dogs and thrives with canine companionship. She plays in the classic Frenchie style: rowdy, physical, and full of enthusiasm, so she would do best with a confident dog who enjoys a similar rough-and-tumble play style. Her foster mom feels that Matilda requires another dog in the home to be truly happy.

She is crate-trained and is currently working on house-training. She’s making progress but will need a patient and consistent adopter to help her continue learning. Matilda is not catching on to leash training yet, so she also REQUIRES a fenced in yard.

Matilda does have dry eye and requires twice-daily eye drops (Cyclosporine/Tacrolimus), which she does well with and will need for life.

If you’re looking for a playful, dog-loving companion and already have another dog, Matilda could be the perfect match!

To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org
Her adoption fee is $400, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, heartworm testing, and dental cleaning.
