This handsome boy is full of personality, always ready for his next adventure, and happiest when he's surrounded by people and other dogs. If he had his way, he'd spend every waking moment wrestling with his canine friends before curling up for a well-earned nap.<br/><br/>Mater is approximately 5 months old, weighs around 30 pounds, and is fully vetted. He's expected to grow into a medium to large-sized adult.<br/><br/>He's crate trained and settles nicely after a few minutes, especially with a Kong or chew to keep him occupied. He's reliable about keeping his crate clean, but he's still working on house training. He understands that outside is the right place to potty, but he's learning how to consistently let his people know when he needs to go out. With a consistent routine and continued training, we expect him to catch on quickly.<br/><br/>Mater is a smart puppy who genuinely enjoys learning. He's very food motivated and responds well to positive reinforcement, making training both fun and rewarding. He rarely barks except to let you know he's awake or wishes he could join the fun on the other side of a gate. He has never shown aggression and simply assumes every dog he meets wants to be his best friend. As he grows, he'll benefit from well-socialized adult dogs who can continue teaching him appropriate play manners.<br/><br/>His foster family has established a wonderful routine that has helped him thrive. His days include morning and evening walks, plenty of supervised playtime, short training sessions, puzzle toys, enrichment activities, naps throughout the day, and relaxing with the family in the evenings. He also enjoys visiting dog-friendly patios and meeting new people, taking in all the sights and sounds of the world.<br/><br/>Like any puppy, Mater will need continued training, socialization, exercise, and patience as he grows. In return, you'll gain a loyal, affectionate best friend who's always ready to make you smile.<br/><br/>Please note that breed is our best guess.
