Canine Lighthouse, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
We strive to make the best match possible between our pets and their adopters, so we evaluate multiple applications to find the best fit. All potential adopters will complete an adoption application, then we will contact you for next steps. All of our adoptions require a home visit and reference checks. Every dog that goes through our organization gets training from the Wiggle Butt Academy team. Learn more about them at www.wigglebuttacademy.com We work hard to give our dogs and puppies the very best start to their new lives. While in our care, we go beyond basic vet care. We pay particular attention to socialization and behavioral wellness. We get to know and love every dog before we help them choose their adoptive families. Our puppies meet a wide variety of people and dogs. We crate train, potty train and begin basic obedience using positive reinforcement. Our application form can be found here: https://form.jotform.com/caninelighthouse/application Our adoption fees are listed on each individual pet's link. All pets over 6 months are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vetted prior to adoption. Puppies under 6 months will be spayed/neutered or we will provide a prepaid voucher for spay/neuter at our vet. All adoptions require a home visit and reference check. General inquiries may be made at info@caninelighthouse.org
