Hi, My name is Mater and I'm part of the Cars litter. I'm a cute little guy, who is shy at first, but soon sweet and playful. My light colored eyes make me stand out. I spent my first few weeks trying to survive in the woods, so we were really scared at first and it took a while to catch us. I'm resilient though and have quickly adapted to living in a home, receiving affection and having regular meals that I don't have to search for. I live for wrestling and playing with my siblings and the other dogs in my foster home. I would make a great addition to any family! <br/><br/>My story... I was living outside with my siblings in Bogalusa at the edge of the woods, and we were playing in the road. We were only a few weeks old, so it was very dangerous for us, so the rescue came and brought us to safety. It usually takes 1-3 business days for processing. If pre-approved, you have first priority and can usually take home your new best friend the same day! <br/><br/>*Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.*<br/><br/>**All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health.
