Mateo<br/>Pittsburgh, PA<br/>This handsome little dude is Mateo! He comes to us from a shelter partner in Puerto Rico where he was left abandoned in a park. He is an 11-month-old Boxer/Bully mix (we have done a DNA test). His soft eyes match his soft personality. No one meets Mateo without instantly falling in love! <br/><br/>Mateo is crate trained, house trained, LOVES going on walks/hikes, rides excellent in the car and loves being with his humans. He also knows his basic commands such as sit, down, wait, leave it and heel. He will wait to eat his food until released and will wait to come out of his crate until he is given the 'break' command. <br/>Mateo will do best in a home with another medium/large calm and confident female dog or as an only dog. He has not been around a lot of children, so kids 16 and older would be best for this boy due to lack of exposure. A calm environment would be best for Mateo. Cats present a temptation to chase, so a feline free home would be best for him.<br/><br/>Mateo is an old soul in a young dog body as he is very laid back and not hyper. He does have the energy to go on long hikes or spend the day on an adventure. <br/>This is one very special boy, and he is looking for one very special forever home.
