He’s a friendly, happy, confident, and playful young dog with a big personality and a serious love of food.<br/><br/>Oogy has been thriving in his foster home and continues to show just how much potential he has. He is fully housetrained and goes outside, does great in a crate, and sleeps crated in another room. He has completed an obedience course and already knows sit and down. He’s still polishing his leash manners and working on commands like stay and place. Oogy is smart and eager to learn, but he still has some puppy habits, including jumping up when excited, so he’ll thrive with an adopter who is patient and enjoys continuing training.<br/><br/>An active lifestyle suits Oogy perfectly. He loves spending time in the yard, playing with toys, chasing after a ball during fetch, chewing on a good bone, and going for car rides. He does great with other dogs and absolutely loves playing with them. He has also started agility training and is really enjoying the mental and physical challenge. When the energy winds down, Oogy’s favorite place to be is right in your lap.<br/><br/>Oogy is wonderful with kids and has been fantastic with his 11-month-old human foster brother. He brings a joyful, upbeat energy to the home and clearly enjoys being part of the family.<br/><br/>Overall, Oogy would do well in a variety of home environments as long as his adopters are ready to keep his body and brain busy. Oogy is a sweet, affectionate, slightly goofy boy who’s ready to bring fun, love, and companionship to a family of his own.
