Mason's Story
May we introduce you to Mason!
Mason is currently being fostered stateside! Mason is a small bundle of joy. Mason is crate trained, but does best when crated along with another pup. Mason really enjoys his dog companions/siblings and we are looking for him to join a home with other dogs.
Mason is house trained and asks to go out when his people are home. Mason is fantastic with other dogs his size and would likely be good with dogs of all sizes, he just has not had many interactions with larger pups. Mason is afraid of cats. So he leaves them alone. He may warm up with time, but due to his fear we feel he would do better in a home without cats.

Mason does best when fed separately from other dogs. He is gentle with treats when he is alone, but will be a bit more aggressive when in a setting with other dogs. Mason loves toys and will also defend his toys from other dogs in the home. He just doesn't want to share!!

Mason is wonderful with all humans of all ages and sizes! His foster say THIS about little Mason:

"We love how close he always wants to be to you. He will find a way to get into your lap, and find any way to attach himself to you. He wants to be as close as possible and loved on. He is very sweet and very curious. Definitely a shadow and will follow you anywhere in the house. He is very active and will launch himself off steps, couches, the window sill, etc. we call it his puppy parkour. So you do have to be careful walking around the house because he'll just launch himself in front of your feet from the back of the couch unexpectedly. Little bit of a wild child, but it is hilarious to watch.

His favorite thing to do is lounge in the yard in the sun. He likes to bird watch. He also likes to snuggle on the couch. He has become a big fan of my heated blankets and will not move off of them if they are turned on. He really likes playing with our other island dog. The two of them play fight and wrestle all day long. He really likes getting a pup cup from Dunkin or Starbucks. He likes going on walks but has not yet mastered walking on a leash. He loves to be outside more than anything. If the weather is nice he wants to be out.

While Mason is very afraid of car rides, how LOVES his destinations and one of his favorite things is going to camp bow wow boarding. They have big active play yards set up. He goes into the "littles/teacups" and will play all day.

He will need a very secure yard. He is a Houdini and will slip away. He tends not to go too far, but the couple times we left him home with a sitter he escaped trying to find us even with a fence. He also hates winter and will spend the entire time wrapped up in a heated blanket and will not move. He also likes to sleep in the bed curled up into a ball pressed into my back under the covers. He will cry if he is not under the covers."

Mason is ready for his forever home, might that be you??
