Mary Kate's Story

Mary-Kate is full of sass, zoomies, and personality! This spunky girl is incredibly playful, eager to learn, and bursting with energy. As a Red Heeler, she's part of a high-energy working breed, so she'll need plenty of daily exercise, mental stimulation, and enrichment to keep her happy and thriving.

Heelers are smart and when they don't have a job to do, they'll happily make one up (and it might involve your shoes or couch 😉). Because of this, it's important that her future family is ready to keep her both physically and mentally engaged. Our goal is to set Mary-Kate up for a forever home that truly meets her needs.

She's already doing well on a leash and is highly food-motivated! Training with treats? She's ALL in! 👏

Like any puppy, Mary-Kate is still learning her manners. She can be a bit mouthy and jumpy during play, so a home with dog-savvy children or older kids would be the best fit. She'll need time, patience, and consistent training to grow into the amazing dog she's meant to be.

Heelers also have strong natural herding instincts, which isn't the right fit for every household and that's okay! We're committed to finding the perfect match for her so she can truly thrive.

If you're ready for a smart, energetic, and fun-loving companion, Mary-Kate might just be your girl! 🐶💛Puppies 6 months and under are typically $200 and dogs from 7 months to 6 years are typically $100.00. The adoption fee may be higher or lower than stated however, and is dependent on many factors including age, behavior, medical condition and demand. All dogs 7 years and older are free under our Saving Seniors program. We frequently run discount specials and occasionally a dog will be more than the stated fee.

Most cats and kittens are $35.00, however there may be instances in which the fee is higher or lower, due to age, behavior, medical condition or demand. With felines, we always have an "Adopt one, bring another one home for free" adoption special!
