Thankfully, she was found quickly and rushed in for emergency care. She is still continuing her recovery journey, and our team is happy to talk more about what that looks like and how we'll support her every step of the way.<br/><br/>While it's unfortunate that Mary has been with us longer than she deserves, we've been lucky enough to really get to know the sweet soul behind those gentle eyes. Mary is an incredibly loving, soft-hearted pittie girl who just wants to feel safe and loved. She's gentle, affectionate once she's comfortable with you, and gets along well with other well-mannered pups. She absolutely adores soft treats - honestly, treats are the fastest way to this girl's heart.<br/><br/>One of the most amazing things about Mary is how resilient she is. Despite everything she's been through, the long-term management of her injury is actually very simple. She just needs soft food and treats and for her people to generally keep an eye on things, but otherwise her care is surprisingly easy to manage.<br/><br/>Mary is a total ham bone sweetheart who deserves a home where she can finally relax, cuddle up, and be cherished the way she's always deserved.
