Mary is a 2-year-old Aussie mix weighing in at 36 pounds, fully grown. She was rescued in Marion County, South Carolina, where she was found living as a stray with her mate, Tripp, and their puppies. Her little family has since found their forever homes—now it’s finally Mary’s turn.<br/><br/>Mary’s journey has not been an easy one. She is still considered feral and remains fearful of people. Because of this, she will only thrive in a home with other dogs. In the company of canine companions, Mary begins to let her guard down and learns how to trust and simply be a dog.<br/><br/>She is housebroken, walks beautifully on a leash, and is slowly gaining confidence each day. Mary’s ideal family will be patient, understanding, and experienced, ready to give her the time and love she needs to blossom.
