Marvin's Story

Earlier this year we took in 3 dogs with broken legs in a short period of time. Marvin is one of those dogs. He’s a young mixed breed who is just getting a chance to really be a puppy. He had surgery in early March to repair his leg and has been on crate rest for the majority of the time since then.

Now that’s he’s healing up and getting stronger, Marvin is ready for a home and family that will let him get the full puppy experience including training, playing with, and loving him. He had a rough couple of months but now he’s on the lookout for the best possible future.

Marvin loves other dogs and all people. He's currently fostered in a home with adult kitties too, and does well with them. He’d do best in a household with school age or older children though since he hasn’t had much experience with young children and he’s still learning how to be a good canine citizen.

Marvin loves playing now that he’s allowed to do so more vigorously and he loves having something to chew on. He’s also very food motivated which is a benefit when teaching him new commands and reinforcing the ones he’s already started learning like “sit” and “wait.”

Marvin's adoption fee is $600! This adoption fee includes: his alter, a microchip, his rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think he may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueDogAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius. This dog is currently being fostered in Rochester, NY.
