Marty's Story

Marty is a goofball extraordinaire with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He's the kind of pup who will zoom around the house at full speed—occasionally clearing the coffee table like an Olympic athlete—yet somehow still needs a little help getting into bed when it's time to snuggle.

And speaking of snuggles... Marty is a huge fan of bedtime. He loves to cozy up, sneak in a little spooning, and will happily burrow into the fluffiest blanket he can find.

Marty absolutely thrives with other dogs and is obsessed with his foster brother. The two of them spend their days playing in the yard and keeping each other entertained. Because of this, Marty would do best in a home with another playful dog or an adopter committed to giving him plenty of daily exercise and enrichment.

Playtime is Marty's love language — fetch, tug, zoomies... you name it, he's all in. As long as he gets his energy out, he settles nicely and can relax like a pro.

Marty is potty trained, knows how to use a dog door, and walks well on a leash. He's still working on his basic obedience, but he's eager to learn and just needs a little consistency and guidance.

If you're looking for a playful, affectionate, slightly goofy best friend who will keep you laughing and then curl up next to you at night, Marty might just be your guy.
