Martini's Story
Martini: Timeless, Elegant, and Ready to Be Yours
Like a perfectly crafted martini, this sweet girl is all about balance, with just the right amount of fun and relaxed charm.

At home, Martini is wonderfully easy to live with. She housetrained herself without any accidents and is only tempted to countersurf if there is something really good near the edge of it. The only thing she has chewed is the bedding in her crate, perhaps out of protest because she doesnt think she really needs a crate at all, she has not caused any damage bing left loose for 9+ hours. She doesnt like the crate, though she doesnt bark or cause a fuss, she just stands there and refuses to go inside. She is relatively quiet, only barking occasionally in the house and yard.

Martini can be a bit shy with new people and dogs, but once she gets comfortable she is absolutely delightful. And when she gets excited she will entertain you with happy little dances, and, of course, her signature tail—which swishes with so much enthusiasm it could stir a cocktail all on its own. Martini enjoys playing with the resident dogs in her foster home and has been respectful of the children she has met. She has met a few cats while out in the world and was ambivalent, so would probably be able to coexist peacefully with dog savvy cats. She does like to chase squirrels, rabbits and gophers but her prey drive does not appear to extend to cats.

Walks used to be a no-go, she would simply refuse to move. Today, she's a leash-walking pro, happily strutting along and proving just how much confidence she's gained.

Martini may not be the kind of dog who jumps into every situation with instant confidence, though she is getting more comfortable by the day. Earning her trust is incredibly rewarding, and once you're in her circle, you'll be greeted with joyful dances, endless tail wags, and a loyal companion who only gets sweeter with time. Olive You Already, Martini

If you're looking for a best friend who's equal parts gentle, graceful, and fun, Martini is ready to raise a glass—and wag her tail—to a lifetime of adventures with you.

Born: December 1, 2024
Breed: Shepherd Mix
Gender: Female
Size: Medium (approximately 50 pounds)
Activity Level: Medium
Cats: Yes
Dogs: Yes
Kids: Yes
Adoption Fee: $345

If you are interested in meeting Martini, applications can be found here:

http://mgpr.weebly.com/dog-adoption-application.html
