Martie is a 5-year-old hound girl with a heart as gentle as her big brown eyes. She came to us as a stray, thin and in need of care, but she's slowly filling out and learning that life can be kind. Through it all, her sweet and friendly personality has never wavered, she loves attention and is always happy to lean in for some love. Martie does well with other dogs, but given her past, she prefers to eat separately so she doesn't have to worry about sharing her meals, totally understandable! She's a simple, soulful girl who just wants a soft bed, a full belly, and a family to call her own.
