Marshy's Story
Meet Marshy: professional lap dog seeking full-time position 🐾
Marshy has one goal in life, and he takes it very seriously: to find a lap, curl up, and stay there forever. If you’ve got an empty lap and a soft spot for a gentle, easy companion, Marshy may be your perfect match.
This sweet, low-maintenance little guy(weighs in and 9.2 lbs) just wants to be close to his person. He’s happiest curled up beside you, rolling onto his back for belly rubs, or quietly keeping you company. He’s incredibly affectionate, calm, and easy to have around—not demanding, not busy, just content to love and be loved.
Marshy is blind and mostly deaf (though he may hear some sounds), but he manages beautifully. He’s already learning his environment and routines, and with a consistent setup he gets around just fine. What helps him most is a stable home, gentle guidance, and a safe space like a crate when he can’t be supervised.
He’s an excellent eater, loves a good treat (ice cream included, in moderation!), and truly is a very easy boy. He’s also great in the car and enjoys being carried—he’s perfectly happy riding along in a cozy sling or chest carrier, which helps him feel secure in new environments.
Because he’s blind, he doesn’t navigate well on a leash in the traditional way and may wander in circles, but he stays close and is easy to guide. He’s been accident-free for the past two weeks in his foster home, though he may need a little time to adjust and learn the routine in a new space. Marshy is looking for someone who wants a true companion—a calm, safe home where he can stay close to his person and continue to thrive. If you’re the kind of person who thinks, “I’d love a little dog to sit with me and just be my buddy,” then Marshy is already on board. He’s not asking for much—just a safe place to land and a lap to call his own.
Apply to adopt him, today!
https://form.jotform.com/241957474861166

#rescueloveadopt #rescuedismyfavouritebreed #chooseme #resilience #adoptabledogs #animalsanctuaries #theminnissanctuary #adoptdontshop #dogadoption #rescuedogs #fosteringsaveslives #adopt #rescuedog #small #dog #smalldogsrule #smalldogsofinstagram #SmallDogBigHeart #snugglebug
