MARSHALL 425's Story
NOW CASTING: MARSHALL
Action Hero. Professional Cuddler. Wildlife Investigator. Future Best Friend.

Meet Marshall, a handsome 9-month-old, fixed mixed-breed boy, weighing in at about 25 lbs and ready to make some gains!

Marshall is looking for an active partner-in-crime who enjoys walks, running, adventures, exploring new places, and making new friends. He walks beautifully on leash, goes potty right away when he gets outside, and is learning new commands every day because, apparently, being adorable wasn't enough—he had to be smart too.

At home, Marshall transforms from action hero into professional cuddle bug. He loves toys, snuggling, and hanging out with his people. He's incredibly social and believes every human and dog he meets is simply a friend he hasn't kissed yet. He's working on keeping all four paws on the ground because HUGS! KISSES! EVERYONE!

Marshall lives happily with other dogs and loves eating, sleeping, and playing with his furry siblings.

A few things to know about our leading man:
He's vocal, so apartment life probably isn't his ideal setting.
Small critters activate his ACTION HERO MODE—squirrels, birds, ducks, and chipmunks beware!
Calm cats who say hello seem okay; running cats may accidentally trigger a chase scene.
He's not a huge fan of the crate, although he eventually settles.

Marshall's perfect home? Someone active enough for adventures but equally happy to come home, curl up on the couch, and snuggle.

If you're looking for a running buddy, adventure partner, professional greeter, cuddle champion, and 25-pound package of personality, Marshall may just be your guy.

Now casting: Marshall's Forever Family.
Are you ready for your co-star?

If you would like to be considered as a potential adopter for one of our great dogs, please go to our website- (SEE PINNED POST) and submit an application. Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks. Please make sure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application. We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks. You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions. Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for. Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home. Meet and greets take place at our adoption center located in New Berlin. If you are proceeding with adopting a Lucky Mutt, we will require the dog to have a Martingale collar at the time of adoption, to ensure the dogs safety during the transition to a new home.

Current Adoption Fees Are:
$425+tax for puppies to 3 years old
$375+tax for ages 4-7
$275+tax for ages 8 and up
Bonded pairs vary

The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 months) and a certified veterinary inspection. Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed. Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements. Approved applicants not chosen for the dog you applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months. We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs. Should you see a dog that interests you, please send us a Facebook message or an email with your approval number. Please be patient with us, as Lucky Mutts Rescue is run strictly by volunteers and many of us work full time jobs, have families and also foster dogs.
