Marshall's Story

🐾 Meet Marshall 🐾

Marshall is a 3–4 year old Retriever/Lab mix who’s been patiently waiting at the shelter for someone to see the gentle soul behind his shy eyes. 💛

This sweet boy is still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. He can be very timid at first and needs time to build trust, but once he feels safe, Marshall’s true personality begins to shine. And what does he love most? Being close to his person. 🥹 He’s a total cuddle bug at heart and just wants to quietly soak up all the love he can get.

Marshall does well with other dogs, though we’re not sure how he feels about cats just yet. He isn’t much for toys, and treats don’t always win him over—but bring out the peanut butter and you’ll have his full attention! 🥜

Marshall would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can go at his own pace and continue building confidence. Watching him come out of his shell and learn to trust is incredibly rewarding.

If you have a soft spot for shy dogs and the patience to help one blossom, Marshall is waiting to meet you. 💙
