Mars's Story

At 4 years old, this pittie/cattle dog mix is basically powered by sunshine, fresh air, and being glued to his favorite humans. Mars is a high-energy, happy guy who wakes up every day thinking, “What are we doing next?!”—and he’s really hoping the answer is something fun.

This boy is a fetch superstar. We’re talking Olympic-level dedication. He’ll chase the ball, bring it right back, and drop it perfectly at your feet like the polite little athlete he is—ready to go again (and again… and again). He also loves swimming, running, hiking, and any activity that lets him stretch those legs and show off his moves.

Mars has the brains to match his brawn, too! He knows “sit” and “down,” has nice leash manners, and thrives with structure and clear boundaries. Give him a routine and a job, and he’ll absolutely shine—this is a dog who loves to know he’s doing a good job.

He’s a friendly guy who enjoys meeting new people and gets along well with other dogs. Little humans can be a bit overwhelming for him, so Mars is looking for an adult-only home where he can relax and be his best self.

Mars is also a certified Velcro dog—he loves his people big time and prefers not to be home alone for long stretches. He’s hoping to find someone who’s around often and can continue helping him build confidence when it comes to solo time.

If your idea of a perfect day includes outdoor adventures, a never-ending game of fetch, and a loyal sidekick by your side every step of the way, Mars is ready to blast off into your life.
