Mars's Story

Mars is our one and only solid black poodle puppy. He is one of the larger puppies and can be shy at first, but once he is comfortable, he is a sweet little love. He loves to play and get into mischief.

The planetary puppies are certainly in their baby shark phase and are learning not to play bite at pants, hair, etc. They also have not walked on leash prior to this and are learning. They are extremely smart and pick up on things quickly, so they will be lots of fun to train and teach tricks to! They are still in the process of potty training.

We think they could live in a home with other animals or kids under the right supervision.

He is 16 weeks old and was born 11/11/2025. We are told the parents are both standard poodles, so they are expected to be standard in size (50-70lbs) when full grown.

If you’re interested in adopting a puppy, you MUST have a vet. Puppies will require additional vetting and will need to be neutered at 6 months old.

**Located in Rhode Island. Local adoptions only.**

Please contact staff at (401) 294-2754 or email animalshelter@exeterri.gov for more information on our adoption process. Please do NOT apply through Petfinder.
