Marrieta 's Story
Meet Marietta – The Independent Adventurer! 🐾
Marietta is a 1½-year-old, 35-pound mystery mix with a look that keeps everyone guessing. Shiba Inu? Chow Chow? Shar Pei? A little bit of all three? We may never know for sure — but whatever her mix is, it makes for one beautiful and unique pup.
Marietta is potty trained, crate trained, and ready to find her forever family.
She’s not a clingy Velcro dog. Marietta is more of a cool, independent companion who likes to be near her people while still doing her own thing. She’s happy, confident, and perfectly content keeping herself entertained.
This girl loves to move! Walks, hikes, and the occasional burst of joyful zoomies are right up her alley. If you enjoy getting outside and staying active, Marietta would make a great adventure buddy.
When it comes to other dogs, Marietta has a very… enthusiastic social style. She tends to get right up in other dogs’ faces, which some pups find a little annoying. Because of that, she’ll need the right dog match who doesn’t mind her bold personality — or she may be happiest as your one-and-only.
She does well with kids, though older kids who understand her independent nature would likely be the best fit. Cats are a no for Marietta, so she’s looking for a cat-free home.
At 35 pounds, Marietta is the perfect medium size — big enough for adventures but small enough to fit easily into everyday life.
If you’re looking for a fun, quirky, independent sidekick who will join you for hikes, make you laugh with her zoomies, and keep life interesting, Marietta just might be your girl.
Marietta is adoptable now and ready to meet her forever family! 🐕✨
