I'm Marnie!<br/><br/>ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? <br/>I'm a darling little girl.<br/><br/>HOW OLD ARE YOU? <br/>The vet thinks I was born sometime in 2022. <br/><br/>WHAT BREED ARE YOU? <br/>French Bulldog<br/><br/>HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? <br/>I weigh 25 pounds.<br/><br/>WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? <br/>I have the most beautiful shiny black coat. I practically glow! Oh, and you'll obviously notice my amazing tongue that is always hanging out. It's my best feature. <br/><br/>WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? <br/>Um, anything and everything? I love my mixed lamb and salmon food kibble, plus I get a little bit of pumpkin puree and a sardine at dinner just because I'm so darn cute! <br/><br/>WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? <br/>I am the happiest and sweetest girl! I get sooo excited to see my foster parents and siblings, and I love to play! I can be a little nervous at first when I am in new places, but with some encouragement and attention I do great. <br/><br/>DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: <br/>My favorite thing to do is play fetch with my ball and run around with my foster siblings. I'm so fast they can't catch me! After all the running and playing and fetching, it's cuddle time with the humans, followed by some zoom zoom zoomies around the house, and finally wrapping up the day with foster sibling cuddles before I head off to bed so I can wake up rested for more fun tomorrow!<br/><br/>WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? <br/>My ball is the best!! But I also love soft toys and tug toys and squeaky toys... pretty much just any toys. <br/><br/>DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? <br/>I can sit and my foster parents are trying to teach me to sit pretty. (Although I'm so gorgeous that my sit is already a sit pretty, right?) Oh, and I have superpowers, including the ability to jump over the couch from the ground! <br/><br/>WHAT SCARES YOU? <br/>I get nervous with new places and new loud noises. I adjust pretty well, but new things can be scary. The roomba scared me the first time I heard it, but I showed it who's boss with a few choice barks, so I am not afraid of it anymore! I also get nervous when people reach over my head really quickly, I prefer chest pets and slower movement over me at first.<br/><br/>HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? <br/>Yes! I got to hang out with a two-year-old cutie and I fell in love! I am very gentle and was such a good girl playing with her. <br/><br/>DO YOU LIKE CATS? <br/>There are a couple cats that live with me, but they don't like us dogs, so they avoid us. I don't bark at them, but I do really want to play. I would need a slow introduction to a new cat so I don't scare them. <br/><br/>HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? <br/>I love them! I'm always trying to get my foster siblings to play with me. <br/><br/>IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? <br/>Anywhere I can play with some dog friends and my ball.<br/><br/>HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? <br/>I've got a great nose, and I breathe really well for a Frenchie! I do have allergies and get a Cytopoint shot every six weeks or so. I also need my ears flushed and tail pocket wiped every week so I don't get infections. Typical Frenchie life, y'know?<br/><br/>WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? <br/>I live with my foster parents and canine foster siblings. There are also two cats that avoid all of us dogs. I love two of my foster siblings the most because they play with me all the time. Foster mom is runner up in the favorites category, and I love to sleep on her lap. <br/><br/>WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? <br/>In my crate snuggled up in my bed. I like my crate and do really well in there day or night. And when that pesky roomba rolls by, I just give it some what-for and remind it to get away from my space.<br/><br/>WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? <br/>I go right in my crate when it is time for bed. Gnight!<br/><br/>DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? <br/>I do really well on leash. It's my time to explore all the world's smells, so just know that we will be taking our time as I sniff all the things!<br/><br/>DO YOU HAVE ANY NOT-SO-GREAT HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? <br/>My foster parents call me a cat! I'm really good at jumping and climbing. I was able to sneak toys from on top of the crates and can jump over the couch where they have our dog area baby gated. My foster mom was so surprised when she put me behind the gate then I just appeared at her side when she turned around!<br/><br/>ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? <br/>I never have accidents overnight in my crate, and I go right outside through the doggy door in the morning. When I first come to your (our) house, please show me where my potty area is and be patient as I learn a new routine. I will figure it out with guidance and consistency.<br/><br/>DO YOU LIKE WATER? <br/>I do great in the bath! It helps that I get to bring my ball in the bath and play with it while I'm being washed. And I will even go outside to play in the rain if it involves chasing a ball. <br/><br/>WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? <br/>My foster parents play fetch with me all the time, and my foster siblings are ready to play at all times too! They also cuddle with me a lot. They are the best! <br/><br/>IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOUR FUTURE ADOPTER? <br/>Oh, I have so much to tell you! I can't wait to meet you and show you how much fun I am!
