Marlin's Story
**PLEASE READ BIO BEFORE APPLYING**

He is an old man who spent his life as a breeder so is a nervous dog. He will need a fully fenced yard, he is not leash trained and will likely never be. Since Marlin lived his first 8 years in a crate, being used only for breeding, he is terrified of people. He would rather be seen and not touched. He needs a quiet home and another small friendly confident dog to show him around.

He has been with his foster for over a year and has started walking outside and back in without having to be picked up, and doesn't run when walked up to. There is not an aggressive bone in his body, but he is not going to be a dog that wants to snuggle anytime in the near future, or long walks in the park.

The reward with owning a dog like Marlin is watching him come out of his shell and become a new dog. It just takes time.
