Marley's Story
Meet Marley

Marley is one of the adorable pups from our “New Leash on Life” program, and he's ready to find his forever family! At around 9 weeks old and about 8.5 pounds, we expect him to grow into a medium-sized dog. While his exact breed mix is a mystery, his mom appears to be a beagle/hound mix (possibly with some lab), and Marley definitely got the best of everything—he's sweet, smart, and full of personality.

Marley has had an amazing start thanks to the New Leash on Life prison training program, where he's been working one-on-one on skills like sit, stay, leash walking, and potty training. He's also been getting lots of socialization with people, other puppies, and adult dogs—setting him up to become a well-rounded companion. His trainers say he's incredibly smart and catching on quickly!

Now in foster care, Marley is thriving. He's playful, bouncy, and full of that happy puppy energy, but he's also incredibly sweet and loves being around his people. He gets along great with other dogs and would do wonderfully in a home ready to continue his training and give him all the love he deserves.

If you're interested in meeting Marley, please submit an application at www.bcaaofnj.org
