It will be bliss for our wonderful Marley!<br/><br/>Marley is an affectionate, family-oriented dog with a gentle soul and a playful streak that comes out once he feels comfortable. He was adopted as a puppy (around 3 months old) from another Colorado rescue after being transported from Texas, and has spent his whole life in a stable, loving home with children and other dogs.<br/><br/>Marley came to Farfel’s Farm & Rescue after his family moved and were unfortunately unable to bring a large dog with them.<br/>Marley is now settling into a loving foster home, where he’s being absolutely spoiled with affection and lots of snuggles while he waits for his next chapter. We are committed to finding Marley a forever home — one that will cherish him as family and never, ever leave him behind again.<br/><br/>Marley was of course a bit confused going into a new home after leaving the only one he's ever known. His fosters let us know that he seemed sad for the first few days, and then completely blossomed.<br/><br/>Marley won't do his potty business on walks, so a home with a yard is necessary for him. He was potty trained as a puppy to go in the yard and that is how he knows how to do it. Marley is of course, potty trained.<br/><br/>The following is a bio of Marley provided by his relinquishing family:<br/><br/>"Marley is an extremely affectionate and loving 4 year old white & blond Labrador mix (as identified by a veterinarian. We can't swear to any specific breed mix as he was a rescue as a puppy). We adopted him as a puppy in 2021 and he has adjusted and grown into an amazing guy and best friend for my kids and my husband and myself.<br/>Marley is friendly and sweet with other dogs of all sizes, and has lived with a small, older poodle mix.<br/>Marley loves long walks and hikes. He will do best with space and a yard to run and play in. He currently lives very happily with children ages 7, 12 & 16 and will be greatly missed by them. When Marley's not sleeping in his own bed he can be found sleeping on the rug in our 13 year olds room.<br/>they really love each other."<br/><br/><br/>Farfel's is thrilled to have Marley join our program. He's a young, healthy dog who will love a kind and respectful family with all his heart. We would love to see him in a home with a family who works from home, or active retirees who have the time and love for a very loyal and kind best companion. We'd hate to see Marley left alone all day while his family works full-time outside of the home. We think he's too social for that. He's such an amazing guy and just the right temperament to accompany his people just about anywhere a very sweet and well-behaved dog is welcome.<br/><br/>Marley has been completely vaccinated, vetted and neutered. This supports Farfel's commitment to only adopting out healthy dogs as well as our hopes for a future where overpopulation has been controlled and there is no further euthanasia of healthy dogs.<br/><br/>We're currently searching for a very loving, nurturing and committed family for our wonderful Marley.
