Marley's Story

I'm Marley! I am a 45-pound, 2-year old Shepherd mix. I am a handsome and quiet young boy- very shy with new things due to my recent life change. I just arrived at Hudson Paws. Marley is a handsome 2-year-old Shepherd mix weighing about 50 pounds, with a calm presence and a gentle, thoughtful nature. Like his sister Mayah, Marley is still adjusting to some recent life changes, and he can be shy when faced with new people or unfamiliar situations. But behind that quiet exterior is a deeply loving and loyal companion just waiting to feel safe.

Marley finds comfort in peaceful moments -- lounging in the sunshine, spending time outdoors, and simply being near his trusted people. He has a soft, sensitive spirit and forms strong bonds once he feels secure. With patience and understanding, Marley will blossom into a devoted best friend who will stay close by your side.

He shares a special connection with his sister Mayah, and the two bring each other comfort and companionship. They would love to find a home together, but Marley will also do well on his own in the right environment.

Marley would thrive in a calm, steady home -- ideally with a fenced yard -- where he can take his time building confidence and trust. A patient adopter who appreciates a quieter dog and is willing to go at his pace will be rewarded with unwavering loyalty and affection.

If you're looking for a gentle, soulful companion to share quiet moments and build a lasting bond, Marley is ready to meet you.

Shepherds are intelligent, loyal, and hardworking dogs known for their strong bonds with their people. They're quick learners who thrive on mental stimulation and consistent guidance. Naturally protective and attentive, Shepherds love to have a purpose -- whether it's playing, training, or simply being by your side. With positive reinforcement and plenty of exercise, they make devoted, affectionate companions who are happiest when they feel part of the family.

Could Marley be the perfect match for you?

● Vaccinations Up to Date: Yes
● Microchipped:
● Spayed: Yes
● Good on Leash: Yes
● Good with Kids: Unknown
● Good with Other Dogs: Yes - always test together first
● Good with Cats: Unknown
● Potty Trained: Yes
● Special Needs: Very shy
