Marlena is a spayed female around 50lbs. She is very energetic and happy! She is approximately 3 years old. <br/><br/>Marlena is healthy and requires no special care however, she does have some trauma or a birth defect with the shape of her skull on one side of her head. Her jaw on the left side is misaligned so her bite doesn't line up exactly right. It gives her a distinctive smile and makes her very unique. It doesn’t cause any health issues, and only minimally affects her cosmetic appearance. Quiet frankly, I think it makes her even more adorable and loveable. <br/><br/>Marlena is super cuddly soft with velvety black fur like a rabbit. It's so snuggly soft. This girl definitely knows her name and comes when called. Marlena is dog friendly, but may not get along with all dogs because of her energy level. Not all dogs like her energetic greetings and her doggie dentistry. She loves puppies and young dogs. She has a high prey drive and is not cat friendly. She loves her person and wants to cuddle as a lap dog. She has the cutest personality. I love this dog and I know you will too.<br/><br/>This girl is waiting for you! She has been in rescue for multiple years. She doesn't deserve to be locked up in a kennel and there's no good reason that she hasn't been given her opportunity for a forever family.<br/> <br/>Marlena is microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. She is on Simparica Trio heartworm/flea/tick preventative. She will have a vet exam, negative fecal test and health certificate for travel. <br/><br/>We transport our dogs to the New England area states. Interested in adopting but not sure how it all works if you're out of state? We will be happy to walk you through the process. We host video chat calls with our rescues and potential adopters so you can get an idea of the dog's personality and mannerisms. We have an in depth application that helps us make a good match between adopter and rescue.
