Marky's Story

Marky is ready for adoption! He is currently in a foster home in San Antonio and would love a forever home in the PNW.

Marky is the adorable brother to Maybelle (see posting). They were both severely neglected by their owners and were living in the absolute filth of their own feces and urine, crated and ignored. Marky was weak and severely anemic on intake. He had hook worms, a staphylococcus infection of the skin and looked like a walking skeleton. He was 30 lbs. underweight and has been in foster care, carefully going through a refeeding program under surveillance by our Vet and his foster family. We are proud to say that Marky just topped 44 lbs. and finally looks like the dog he was meant to be. Now he needs his forever family to find him.

Marky is just a very sweet boy. Despite his horrific start, he holds no grudges to humans. He loves everyone. Marky enjoys dogs and has fun with his foster siblings. Marky will need another friendly pal in the home. One that will play and enjoy his company. He is not high energy but needs a yard to play with his housemate and to blow off steam.

Marky is house trained and crate trained. He is learning to leash walk and car ride. He’s affectionate and an expert snuggler. He adores attention and expects everyone to comply.

Marky is curious and excited about life. After being starved from food and attention we want to make sure he is adored and spoiled for all the days of his life. His owner must be present and patient and be willing to let him develop into his own.

Marky is about 18 months old and ready to find his forever family!

His adoption fee is $600 and includes his transport, vaccinations, neuter and microchip. 100% of the fee goes to his care.

Please contact Carla at carlarelf@me.com for more information.

https://www.facebook.com/PacosNet
