Marión's Story

Marión is a gorgeous, 5‑year‑old red brindle Galgo from Spain who is learning family life for the first time. In just a short month in foster, he has picked up leash walking, potty training, and the rhythms of living in a home. He adapts quickly and wants nothing more than to be near his people.

He is playful, affectionate, and puppy‑like in his enthusiasm. Marión loves everyone and gets along beautifully with other dogs. He is gentle and loving with his medium‑sized foster siblings and often follows their lead. On walks he is polite, curious, and eager to greet the world (and every person/dog that walks past), though he is quite strong and does best with a handler who keeps him close, focused and steady.

Marión is very food motivated and a fast learner. He proudly sits on cue and sometimes offers bonus
sits
just in case a treat might appear. He enjoys toys and needs sturdy ones because he is a pro at amputating the limbs of stuffies! He can be left alone for several hours but is a talented counter surfer, so his new family will need to keep kitchens cleared and tempting items out of reach.

Marión is loving, snuggly, adaptable, and eager to please. Daily walks and playtime suit him well since he has plenty of joy and energy. He would fit into many types of homes, especially one that appreciates his energy, curiosity, his sweet nature, and his desire to be part of the family.

We adopt within 1 1/2 hours of Kansas City..
