Mario 's Story

It’s-a me, Mario!
I’m a 11-week-old Chihuahua mix (brother to Luigi!) with a sweet, laid-back personality and a playful side.

I’m confident for my age and very social—I get along well with other dogs, but I tend to prefer human companionship.
I adore kids, but because I’m small and still learning puppy manners, I’d do best with older children who know how to be gentle with young pups.

I’m a big cuddler and would love to sleep in bed with you, though I also enjoy a little quiet time to recharge. I enjoy my kennel since I eat in one, but I let you know if I am ready to come out.

I’ve started potty training and basic training and am doing well—I’ll just need patience as I adjust to a new home. I’m very people-oriented and don’t like being alone, so I’d thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time. I can be a bit of a “velcro puppy” and I like to lay on your lap, although I may outgrow that soon.

I’ve met lots of people, friendly dogs, and even a big cat—and I’ve done great with everyone! I do prefer the smaller or medium dogs to the larger ones, but i am fine with big dogs who know their size.

I’m a happy, loving puppy ready to find my forever family. Could that be you?

Adoption fee is $450. He is fixed, chipped, dewormed, flea treated, started on vaccines and had a wellness exam.
